MINING

FEDERAL
R&K understands that success in the Federal marketplace depends on relationships with key team members / partners. Our staff continually works with small companies just receiving their special designations (8a, SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB). We will connect inexperienced company owners with the resources they need to succeed, then team with them to execute small projects as they get started on their federal contracting journey.
SOIL STABILIZATION
Do you have an unstable subgrade? Lime, Cement or Fly Ash modification can cut that expense by 50% and save you days, weeks or months on your construction project. R&K Excavation can eliminate the need to remove and replace the unsuitable soil by treating the existing poor soil in place to create a solid working platform that meets project stability requirements.
UTILITIES and INFRASTRUCTURE
R&K has a noteworthy past in this field. With over 30 years of experience, utility work still today remains a core foundation of our company. We take pride in our quality installation of all sorts and sizes of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and electrical duct bank.
R&K Excavation installs thousands of feet of sanitary sewer, water and storm drain pipe per year, always meeting local codes. Trenching and shoring safety is at a premium.

As environmental practices have evolved over time, R&K has evolved as well to ensure that these policies and procedures are being met with the highest quality. Environmental control starts before anyone sets foot on the jobsite and we treat it as one of our top priorities throughout our projects. We work internally and with other contractors to ensure that the job is done right. From site layout to job completion, we will ensure that a clean environment is maintained and the customer is left satisfied.
INDUSTRIAL
We understand the always changing industrial environment and embrace the many challenges it comes with. Some of the services we provide include light mechanical, civil, underground utilities, and others. We put the right team in place to successfully work directly with the owner to ensure that all needs are being met.
